A visit to the Louvre set the spark for the creation of the Babylon Collection. Nino Bauti was immediately drawn to the exhibition that featured objects and treasures from ancient Babylon, whose people were the first to develop containers for the conservation and transportation of\u00a0<\/span>wine, grains and oil for long-distance trade. The Canon line brings the beauty of metals and their undeniable contrast. In the collection, we glimpse parts in 24k gold, silver-plate and graphite finishes coexisting in the same piece, creating figures that enchant and make the home space more refined. The Cosmos, as a synonym of the universe, was the inspiration for this collection. The Dots collection is inspired by the hybrid and the study of materials such as temperature and colors in opposition to metal. The pieces consist in ice buckets, trays and vases made in silver-plate, 24k gold and other noble metals finishes. With reference to a loop that surrounds the whole object, the Fiocco Collection brings together noble materials, such as stone and silver. The Poli <\/span>collection is composed of two<\/span> pitchers<\/span>, a<\/span> serving<\/span> tray, <\/span>a<\/span> cooler<\/span>, an ice bucket, and a set of<\/span> bowls<\/span> in two sizes <\/span>f<\/span>or a variety of uses. Known for his irreverent take on design, the Italian designer Matteo Cibic is recognized worldwide for working luxury into cheerful pieces, with anthropomorphic shapes and hybrid functions, but without neglecting artisanal work. For his new collection, Matteo bets on \u201cfantastic\u201d storytelling to tell the story of the Rapunzel.
According to the designer, a few years ago, a girl who collected grains of different colors, styles and shapes, had an amazing surprise. By unintentionally dropping drops of perfume on three of the grains, as if by magic, 3 roots began to grow, quickly, in front of her eyes. The next morning, she found that the long roots that had grown connected with each other, forming a beautiful braid in different shades of brown. The Smooth collection is an experiment of optic science and design. The idea was to create a collection of objects in which a platonic solid (metal) is floating in the air on a colorful transparent jelly (resin). The color and its reflections are changing the shape of the volumes, and it turns them into magical objects. The Tumbi Collection, signed by <\/span>architect<\/span> Fernanda<\/span> Marques, <\/span>will be represented by the vases developed exclusively <\/span>by St. James in silver, gold, and graphite<\/span>–<\/span>plated brass, <\/span>both<\/span> in<\/span> shin<\/span>y and matte options. The inspiration for the <\/span>collection came<\/span> during<\/span> a vi<\/span>sit<\/span> to<\/span> the Amazon, in which the <\/span>architect created, together with a riverside community, <\/span>some objects in wood from sustainable management, <\/span>which could potentially be transformed into other pieces.<\/span>
“Although<\/span> working<\/span> with<\/span> very<\/span> different<\/span> goals<\/span> in<\/span> this <\/span>collecti<\/span>on for St. James, which explores one of the shapes <\/span>created for my Tumbira vase collection, I feel that I have <\/span>never moved away from the concept of the receptacle, <\/span>the continent. In the first case, with the creation of the <\/span>vases to receive water, grains, s<\/span>oil, living matter, etc. In <\/span>the lamps, which are also part of this collection, I have taken the risk of creating <\/span>an object to contain the immaterial, the unattainable, in this case, the light,” <\/span>concludes Fernanda.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Volupt\u00e9 was created with a soft touch in mind, light and flirty, with curved, sensual and sexy lines, and a French name that perfectly simplifies the whole concept of voluminousness in personal objects of luxury. Volupt\u00e9 is pleasing to the eye and to the touch, decorative yet extremely functional. In its concept is the idea to save space and add a multifunctional value to the objects, being able to transform them from a closed container to two independent bowls.
